Despite the fact that I have a wide range of business owners within the Aestheticians Connect and Spa Retail Rockstar communities (from solo aestheticians to aestheticians working in larger spas to spa owners with a well-established team), there’s one thing I consistently see no matter the environment.
It’s that mindset and confidence is something 99.9% of us have dealt with, struggled with, or could currently improve upon.
Now I know mindset can sound like a “woo-woo” topic, but the truth is, if you’re a skeptic who needs the science, mindset is still for you, too.
It’s for everyone because, well, we’ve all got a brain!
And as my lovely guest, Dr. Shannon Irvine, shares with us on today’s episode of the Spa Marketing Made Easy podcast, mindset is a matter of neuropsychology, and although we’ve all got the same amount of material that we’re working with, there’s a reason some people are more successful than others.
It all boils down to how successful people think and how they apply their thoughts to their lives and businesses that allow them to have more significant achievement in actualizing the vision they’ve set out to accomplish.
Essentially, reaching our goals begins with learning how to create a mindset for success.
Here’s more of what you’ll learn in this episode:
- The science behind how our thoughts impact our brain’s patterns and our resulting actions
Why our brains are wired for efficiency and how we can use this knowledge to both break negative thought patterns and create new ones
What to “feed” your brain daily to make your vision a reality
How many of us get to a place of needing to retrain our brain and Dr. Shannon’s 4 “R” process to self-navigate the process of creating a mindset for success
