The work Natalie has completed with Addo Aesthetics for over 1 year has helped her realize how much revenue opportunity she was leaving on the table and the coaching helped her uncover blind spots in her business. She now has a clearer vision of what her spa needs to do to sustain a great business.

After working with Addo Aesthetics, Fola has built a team and decreased her working hours to 12 hours per week!

Samantha Brought in $225K with Back-to-Back Events Leveraging Our Strategies

After meeting at a Dermaconcepts* event, Samantha, the Medical Spa Manager at Healthy Complexions Spa in Williamsville, New York joined the Growth Factor® Framework program knowing that her spa needed help, especially in the realm of sales.

Although she felt compelled to do it all, all at once, she hunkered down and got focused on the key area we see spa owners having the fastest and most impactful success to their bottom line – with events.

With a go-getter spirit, Sam went from barely hitting 4 figures with her past events to hosting 5- and 6-figure events, back-to-back, in a matter of months after joining Growth Factor® Framework.

Starting with a two-day, fully-booked mini event that featured giveaways, special pricing on packages and other enticing deals, Sam brought in just under $50K in two days and followed that up with an open house event where she simplified her process, leveraged pre-selling, and set a goal of $100K that she quickly superseded, resulting in a $175K open house.

Now that she’s set the baseline for her spa’s event success metric, Sam is focusing on team growth and development as she ventures into the next step of business growth.

Misty’s Story: Expanding with a Second Spa Location in Just Five Years

After just five years in business, Misty Gillette went from launching a business to a successful spa CEO with multiple locations.

Misty never dreamed she would open a second location for her spa in Crestview, Florida, but her spa, My Favorite Place, has grown exponentially, with another location soon to open its doors in May this year.

Before branching out into entrepreneurship with her own brick and mortar location, Misty built her career in the beauty industry and has collected more than 15 years of experience in spa operations in various roles.

Misty went to aesthetics school in 2006 in South Carolina and later in 2012 to get her aesthetics license.

Her pride and joy, My Favorite Place, offers everything from skin treatments, waxing, massage, lashes, and more run by a busy team, which has now grown to seven employees.

“I wanted to create a work environment for women in the beauty industry, to create a family-like work environment and take care of our people. My employees are the reason I do what I do,” she said.

Misty has been working with Addo Aesthetics for the past six years, completing all courses the company offers and has been a member of Growth Factor for several years.

“I can honestly say the success of my business can be greatly attributed to Daniela’s spa coaching, courses, resources and support. I would highly recommend if you have the opportunity or ability to go ahead with coaching with her and her team I would highly recommend it,” she said.

It was with the support of Addo Aesthetics that Misty was able to open her business doors and hire a team, bypassing the traditional aesthetician route of first becoming a solo operator.

“I’ve never had a business without Addo, and I’ve never been a solo operator. Daniela coached me in opening my business with a team from the very beginning. We have managed to add team members and add revenue over the years as a result of working together.”

As a Spa CEO that’s soon to have multiple locations, Misty is excited for what the future holds.

“We are in the process of adding a second location this week, which is very exciting and beyond what I ever thought possible,” she said.

“It’s a pretty amazing achievement, after starting one business, weathering the storms of COVID, hiring a team, and now having a second location in five years is pretty incredible.”

Taylor Brought in $61K in One Day During Her First Big Spa Event!

Taylor Moody is a licensed aesthetician and the CEO of Allure Aesthetics in Flagstaff, Arizona, which she founded at just 20 years old.

Within three years of starting her business as a solo aesthetician, she quickly became the fastest growing med spa in Flagstaff with a team of seven and growing!

After joining our Growth Factor Framework program, Taylor dove head-first into the initial Sales Factor module so she could get to work in giving her business a cash infusion in addition to drumming up some big marketing buzz coming out of the thick of the pandemic.

Beyond the big win that Taylor experienced due to her exquisitely executed event, which brought in $61K of revenue in one day, I think one of the biggest takeaways from her story is the way she really did her due diligence in making it a success.

Taylor and her team began planning this event in April and executed it at the end of August — she did a lot of prepping, marketing, and coordinating with her team, and most importantly, she asked for support and feedback, and she took what she received to make her event a powerful and strategic revenue driver, and it paid off in spades.

Now Taylor is headed toward her next Spa CEO milestone of working herself out of the treatment room and continuing to scale and grow her business with team and systems.

Emilie’s story: Taking the family business to the next level

Emilie Drolet knew she had a big legacy to uphold when she took over her mother’s spa that’s been running for more than 40 years.

The business was built on a steady foundation, with Emilie’s mother Danielle starting her journey in esthetics when she was just 18-years-old and later started her own business at the age of 21.

In 1989, Danielle purchased an old chapel on Lyon St and renovated the entire building and Meta Esthetique was born.

Flash forward to now and her daughter, 31-year-old, Emilie, has been working within the business for the past 12 years and is now the CEO and Manager of Meta Esthetique in Ottawa, Canada.

Emilie started Growth Factor in June 2021 and remains a member today. And while business was steady, she knew that continuing to invest in herself and grow would be the leverage point she needed to take the business to the next level.

“It has helped me tremendously understand how to run a successful aesthetics business,” Emilie said.

“Now, I know exactly where I’m headed and I know what I need to do to get there. I never really had an idea on what my business could do for me, and after spending so much time in this group, I now know the potential it has.”

Emilie said that working with Addo has helped her to understand how to develop different streams of revenue, financials and other key areas of improvement.

“I feel like I finally have a solid idea of what my business should look like, where it should be going, and what it can bring me,” she said.

“Now that I understand my numbers and trackers better, the minute I joined Addo, I was put into action mode.”

“Within six months, I made 50K additional dollars in revenue, when we had been in plateau mode for the past five years. I’ve also doubled my salary within a year, and that’s all thanks to Addo for showing me the ‘profit-first’ way of doing things.”

“It’s the best darn investment I’ve made, I couldn’t be more proud of myself. I feel like I can now confidently say that I am thriving as a growing Spa CEO.”

Kerri Created a $90K Cash Infusion with Her First Spa Event

Kerri VanEe is one of our Growth Factor Framework Spa CEOs and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner who opened her medical spa, Essence Aesthetics and Health, in a small rural Iowa town in March 2021 after spending the previous 20 years of her career in the healthcare field.

At Essence Aesthetics, Kerri and her team of Registered Nurses provide personalized medical grade aesthetic treatments as they work to empower their clients to show up more confidently and as their best selves.

And after just 14 months of being open and spending 8 weeks inside our Growth Factor Framework program, Kerri implemented the strategies she learned through the Sales Factor portion of the program and hosted her first successful first birthday celebration.

This event was such a smashing success that it created a $90K cash infusion, and showed Kerri that it was also time for her to start the work of growing her team.

Yes, $90K is a big and shiny headline, and Kerri will tell you that she had to really buckle down with her focus to make that happen instead of trying to do “all the things all at once” during her first couple months inside of Growth Factor, but it’s that dedication to being coachable and keeping it simple that allowed her to see the results from her big birthday event.

And not only did that event create an incredible cash infusion (which she can now replicate and iterate on year after year!), but it also helped her gain momentum so she can shift further into her role as Spa CEO and build out the systems and team she’ll need to support her as she scales her spa business to the next level.

Alexis Hit $100K in One Month with a Live Event Planned in Just 2 Weeks!

As an ambitious and award-winning solo aesthetician in Boston, Alexis joined Growth Factor Framework in search of not only coaching and guidance for her spa’s future growth, but also to tap into community and camaraderie with her Spa CEO peers.

Within just a few months of joining the program, Alexis got to work implementing what she had learned about events and marketing to host a live event that helped her hit a $100K month!

Although Alexis put the pedal to the metal and only took two weeks to plan and execute her event, (something we typically advise at least a 4-8 week runway to plan), her action-taker attitude, positive sales mindset, and heart for high-touch service for her clientele made her event a smashing success that she can now replicate and grow in the future.

Marchelle’s story: The building blocks of a successful spa CEO

Marchelle Charles, a native New Yorker, always had a passion for making people look and feel beautiful. With her love for the arts from an early age, her mother knew her career would be doing something creative, and now she can add Spa CEO to her resume.

After graduating from Adelphi University in 2009 she attended Makeup Designory in NYC, a professional makeup artistry school. Several years after makeup freelancing, she decided to expand her knowledge and love for skin. She attended NYIB on Long Island to educate herself on aesthetics.

Marchelle’s dreams were actualised when she opened her very own spa, Beautiology located in Garden City, New York. Little did she know after those first two years as a solo esthetician, she would expand her team and become a brick and mortar business owner.

It’s here in her little slice of paradise she offers everything from spray tans, facials, body treatments, makeup, waxing, and has spent the last eight years building her empire as a spa CEO.

But while all the infrastructure was in place, Marchelle was struggling with overwhelm, fatigue, and exhaustion as a busy operator running her spa, with several employees. And it wasn’t long before Marchelle signed up for Growth Factor for some additional support and community with like-minded women in business.

“Before joining Growth Factor I really struggled with overwhelm, fatigue, exhaustion, was feeling burnt out, and had all the feelings a spa CEO feels, with no clear path to success,” Marchelle said

“I knew I was doing something right in my business, but I needed that invitation to succeed, the guidelines and a practical and clear path to know what needed to change and how to go about it.”

After joining Growth Factor, Marchelle was able to generate over 10k in revenue by implementing the systems and process provided, including introducing a membership revamp, a service and retail combination package and hiring a new provider to take on new clients and increase her revenue.

And after just six months in the program, Marchelle’s bottom line started to soar, generating over 22k in revenue.

“I have been flawed with all of the resources that the Growth Factor Framework has provided. I learned so much about my numbers and became much more confident in what I was doing,” she said.

The journey to entrepreneurship can be a lonely one, and Marchelle says the community within Addo Aesthetics has been the best part about signing on to the program.

“Being able to have that community and have that support I would say has been the biggest value for me. Having other like-minded high-level peers that are in the spa and wellness world that you can reach out to and have a friend to talk to when you are in the ebbs and flows of business is so valuable.”

Marchelle suggests that Growth Factor is for any CEO in the spa and wellness industry who is looking for the next level in their business.

“You may have reached a plateau or you don’t have all the knowledge, and having a safe space to talk about money, and other important topics you need to tackle is really important,” she said.

“Growth Factor is for that person who wants to reach that next level but doesn’t have the push or the community to do so, so if you are thinking of joining, just do it.”
